Description: We took a long and winding path to making spruce tip syrup. But, oh we're happy we did. Made with Alaska foraged spruce tips, it surprisingly tastes like the small ripe strawberries you find growing in the wild. Using marshmallows as our medium, we combined it with locally foraged lingonberries. Tangy lingonberry and strawberry (from the spruce tip) flavors, a crunch from the dehydrated marshmallows, and an interesting herbal-ness (also from the spruce) combined with 62% single origin Dominican Republic chocolate. Awesomely interesting!
