Shipping and Terms and Conditions

Shipping - General

We ship within the US and US Territories. Shipments occur via USPS Priority Mail.

An order typically arrives 3 to 7 business days after it is placed.

Of those 3 to 7 business days, preparing and packaging is typically 1 to 4 business days, while shipping takes 1 to 3 business days.

USPS does not guarantee delivery dates and times and shipping can depend greatly on location (e.g., shipments to Anchorage happen as soon as overnight, while rural communities on the U.S. east coast can take 3 or more days).

Once your order is scheduled for shipping (1 to 2 days after the order), you'll receive a tracking number email, which will provide more detailed information regarding estimated delivery.

We offer free shipping for orders to the same address of $45 or more. 

Ship to Multiple Addresses in the Same Order

To ship to multiple different addresses in the same order, add multiple products to your cart and click the "Ship to Multiple Addresses" checkbox on the cart page.

Shipping charges (including free shipping threshold) is calculated per shipping address. Bundle pricing (eg, 6 pack) is priced per each unique shipping address.  

Shipping to Warm Climates

If it's warm where you are, we may hold your shipment until it cools. 

We guarantee your chocolate will arrive in an unmelted condition (if not, contact us and we'll fix it - this happens in less than 1% of our shipments, but it can happen). 

We monitor destination weather conditions and package in temperature control packaging when needed. Chocolate becomes soft at approximately 80 Fahrenheit/27 Celsius and melts at 86F/30C.

We hold shipments for destinations where the temperature is over 95 degrees, to ensure your chocolate arrives a-ok, we will hold shipments until the temperature falls below 95 for at least 3 consecutive days. 


We dislike spam and fraud as much as you. All information provided to us is confidential: nothing is sold, rented, or shared. We confirm orders by email and might contact you regarding your order by the information you provide (email, phone, and/or mailing address). We might periodically send a little note about new products or events, however you’ll always have the option to opt out of any communication from us by sending us an email.


We want you to be super happy with your purchase from our website retail store. In the event that your order from our store does not meet your expectations, email us at within 15 days of order shipment noting the issue or reason for return. Ship us back the item(s) and we’ll issue your refund within five business days of receipt.
